A 14-year-old boy was stabbed in a violent confrontation outside Anjou High School Friday evening.
Around 4:10 p.m., police were called to an armed robbery at the intersection of Chenier and de l’Aréna streets, located in the parking lot of Anjou High School in Montreal.
According to preliminary information from the police, several suspects were involved in the attack. However, they would have had time to leave the premises before the police arrived.
At this time, the identities of the suspects are unknown and there is nothing to connect them to the high school. Witnesses at the scene will be interviewed by police in the hours to shed light on the circumstances of the incident.
Even when paramedics arrived, the teenager was still able to speak. He was immediately attended to and taken to hospital where he is being treated for upper body injuries.
“According to the doctors, there is no fear for his life,” said Marion Allaire-Morin, spokeswoman for the Service de police de la Ville de Montreal (SPVM).
