On Wednesday in the Lock-Saint-Charles sector north of Quebec, an unruly man allegedly killed a private citizen who wanted to intervene to put an end to the misconduct he was committing in vehicles.

A 65-year-old man was stabbed Wednesday in Thibodeau Street in Lac-Saint-Charles. His death was announced at the scene.
His abused body was found on the ground between Haman and Bouchard streets around 4 p.m.

Arrest
The 30-year-old suspect was found within minutes of the crime scene. He was immediately arrested by police. The relationship between the two individuals has not been clarified.
The Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) confirmed the cars were damaged. “We can no longer say that this is a quiet corner,” said another citizen of Thibodo Street.
The deceased was not sent to the hospital center. A total of three people were taken to hospital.

The suspect, two people were treated for behavioral disorders and trauma. Serious charges will be filed soon if his health permits.
SPVQ received several calls from citizens to report the attack. So many witnesses are to be questioned.
Mobile Command Post and forensic identification technicians were on site in the evening.
“It will take a long time,” agents told citizens who could not circulate freely within the larger perimeter.
There were four murders in 2021 in Quebec.
