Le Gars du Lac posted a long message on its Facebook page to provide news about entrepreneurs.

“Since we have been overwhelmed by the news for the past few hours, we would like to bring you the latest news on Oliver Gene’s health.

As many already know, Oliver was seriously injured in the fire. He was urgently transferred to CHUM’s large burns unit in Montreal, where his condition is thought to be stable by medical staff. This time he is in intensive care and plunged into an artificial coma to relieve him of the pain.

It should also be added that his business partner Stephen Cognon, who was at the scene at the time of the explosion, also suffered significant burns. Fortunately, his life was not in danger and he was meticulously monitored by the burns team at CHUL de Québec.

Obviously, it is still too early to make any diagnosis or prediction for the future. One thing is for sure, Olivier and Stephen will need your moral support more than ever because their struggle for redemption has only just begun.
