Who should you start with? Who should you sit with? To help you set your fantasy football lineups and avoid starting an offensive player who won’t be in the lineup, we’ll post fantasy-related updates and analysis here when NFL teams release their official inactive rosters. Any ratings mentioned in this column come from our website ESPN Fantasy staff ranks.
Official inactive attendance on Sunday must begin approximately 90 minutes prior to scheduled kickoff times: approximately 8 AM ET for the London game, 11:30 AM ET for early games, and 2:30 PM ET for late afternoon games.
Update frequently to get the latest information.
Games are at 4 p.m. ET
Marquise Brown, WR, ARI — active
Impact: Although he recovered from illness this week, he appears to be able to play.
Sam LaPorta, TE, DET — active
IMPACT: As reported earlier this afternoon, Laporta will be suiting up for the event.
Jahmir Gibbs, RB, DET — Outside
Impact: David Montgomery will likely handle roughly 20 touches in Detroit’s backfield.
JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, NE — Outside
IMPACT: Tyquan Thornton has been activated from IR to join the pool in 3-WR sets. Kayshun Buti is once again a healthy inactive.
Sunday night game
Dawson Knox, TE, BUF — Doubtful
Impact: He has trained in a limited way all week and is heading towards the start, which is good news as…
Dalton Kincaid, TE, BUF — Doubtful
IMPACT: … Kincaid has not yet cleared the league’s concussion protocol, so his Sunday is currently on hold.
Daniel Jones, QB, NYG — Outside
Impact: Tyrod Taylor is at center for the Giants this week, so temper your expectations.
Saquon Barkley, RB, NYG — Doubtful
Impact: He has been training this week and looks like he is finally ready to return to action.
Darren Waller, TE, New York — Doubtful
Impact: Assuming he plays, he could end up being Taylor’s favorite target.
9:30 AM ET
Keaton Mitchell, RB, BAL — active
IMPACT: The rookie practiced all week in anticipation of joining Judge Hill in backup to Gus Edwards.
Trelon Burks, WR, TEN — Outside
Impact: Nick Westbrook-Ikhine will get a raise, but DeAndre Hopkins is still the top WR option on the Titans.
Games are at 1 p.m. ET
Miles Sanders, RB, CAR — Outside
Impact: Chuba Hubbard should get most of the running back touches for the Panthers, and Laviska Shenault Jr. will probably watch. Some hardware operations.
Roshawn Johnson, RB, CHI — Outside
IMPACT: With Khalil Herbert (ankle) now on IR, D’Onta Foreman gets a chance to handle backfield duties.
Travis Homer, RB, CHI — Outside
Impact: A missed opportunity to get some touches for a homer. Darrenton Evans will support Foreman.
T Higgins, WR, CIN — active
Impact: The Bengals had a bye in Week 7, so with Higgins active, he’s likely close to 100%.
Deshaun Watson, QB, CLE — Outside
Impact: PJ Walker will start in Week 6, but we may see Dorian Thompson-Robinson at some point this week, or in the coming weeks if Walker struggles.
David Njoku, TE, CLE — active
Impact: He played before last week’s bye, so it’s no surprise he’s ready to leave today.
Robert Woods, WR, HOU — active
IMPACT: He’s had some practice this week, so Woods may start alongside Nico Collins.
TANK DELL, WR, HOU — Inactive
IMPACT: Noah Brown has been activated from IR and may take over Dell’s quick stake.
Z Jones, WR, Jacks — Outside
Impact: The Jaguars will likely rely heavily on the duo of Christian Kirk and Calvin Ridley.
Jeff Wilson Jr., RB, MIA — Outside
Impact: There was talk of activating it from IR this week, but it doesn’t appear to be ready. Salvon Ahmed should back Raheem Mostert once again.
Chase Claypool, WR, MIA — Inactive
Impact: Apparently, Miami isn’t ready to send its recently acquired receiver into game action.
Joan Johnson, TE, NO — Outside
Impact: Once again, the tandem of Jimmy Graham and Foster Morrow will get its share of targets.
Elijah Mitchell, RB, SF — active
Impact: Jordan Mason may still be in line for some backup touches.
