Google Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a pricing and release dates are leaking

New leaks have revealed that Google’s first foldable smartphone and its next mid-range smartphone are set to be unveiled together at the company’s annual developer conference. On May 10, at Google I/O, we will allegedly see the official introduction of the Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a.

While they may be announced together, they will not be released at the same time. The Pixel 7a will be available immediately, for $499, in four colors called Charcoal, Snow, Sea, and Coral — the latter exclusive to the Google Store.

That’s a $50 increase compared to the Pixel 6a, which, interestingly enough, will remain on sale even after its successor hits the streets. Presumably, this means it could see a slight price drop starting May 10, but that’s just speculation at this point.

The Pixel 7a was rumored to arrive with a new 64MP main camera along with a 13MP ultra-wide camera, a Tensor G2 SoC, a 90Hz refresh rate display, and support for wireless charging.
