Mitchell Musso, best known for playing Oliver O’Kane on the Disney Channel series Hanna Montanaarrested in Texas.
The actor served time in jail in Rockwall, Texas, after he was charged with “public intoxication, theft (less than $100), expired registration, failure to show driver’s license, and breach of promise to appear before notice,” according to a report from TMZ.
Musso was reportedly released on $1,000 bail after being arrested following an incident at a food market where the former Disney star allegedly stole potato chips. According to the store’s employees, they asked Musso to pay for the snack and he “became verbally abusive” and ended up “walking away.”
Local authorities were called and Musso was arrested outside his hotel who was reportedly under the influence.
Musso played the title role Hanna Montana For four seasons he played Miley Cyrus’ best friend Oliver. The actor reprized the role in 2009 Hannah Montana: The Movie. Musso will also voice Jeremy Johnson in the animated series Phineas and Ferb. In 2010, Musso will go on to star in the DisneyXD series A pair of kings for the first two seasons.
