Hayley's Abilities From The First Descendant Are Already Impressing Fans

The First Descendant is a great experience that has become wildly popular. While it has a fun gameplay loop and developers who continually support the game with regular updates, most of the popularity stems from the characters. A new TFD character has been revealed for Season 1, Nexon has teased Hailey’s abilities with The First Descendant fans who have already fallen in love with her..

Nexon has confirmed that the release date for TFD Season 1 is August 29. A trailer has been released, but a full trailer is expected at Gamescom 2024. Nexon’s 2024 roadmap reveals that Season 1 also plans to introduce a new Ultimate following the popular Valby that was released in late July.

While the new Ultimate release is exciting, fans of The First Descendant are fully prepared to buy Hailey on day one of her release.

Hailey’s First Descendant Abilities

Nexon has teased Hayley’s abilities in The First Descendant. According to the developer, Hayley has “super-cooling abilities that allow her to lower her body temperature to extreme levels and fire bursts of bullets instead of bullets.”

The only other detail we know about the TFD season 1 heroine is that she wields a rather large sniper rifle. According to her narration, “She left the sniper squad she loved so much and officially became its descendant. But even as its descendant, Hayley vowed to keep the legend alive, still chanting the 33rd Sniper Squad’s motto.”

Since its reveal, fans have been incredibly impressed and intrigued by it. Some have compared it to Widowmaker from Overwatch, while others have compared it to Quiet from Metal Gear Solid 5, and perhaps most appropriately of all, Sniper Wolf from MGS1.
