MLB Opening Day 2023 is finally here!
All 30 teams will play in 15 games Thursday, and 30 of the best pitchers across the majors will be heading up the mound, led by eight Cy Young Award winners.
ESPN will air some of the weekend’s most exciting matchups, including defending champion Astros and freshman Jose Abreu opening the season against the White Sox, the former team of the 2020 MVP. The primetime opening night showdown will also feature the Houston World Wide Banner raising ceremony and celebrations. .
