“I Think You Should Leave” Season 3 Premiere Dates Collection – Miscellaneous

As trilogies are the best, I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson has finally set the premiere date for its highly anticipated third season, less than a year after Netflix announced its renewal.

And it just so happens that the premiere is planned for May 30, one day before the 2023 Primetime Emmy eligibility cut, which means the six-episode third season of Robinson’s silly sitcom will be up for nominations this year on TV’s biggest night.

Created and written by Robinson and Zack Kanin, Netflix has promised a third season of “I Think You Should Leave” in which the duo will see their “distinctive comedic style and observational sense of humor come to the fore, continuing to poke fun at life’s most bizarre and mundane situations.”

News of the premiere date was revealed on Friday, just as Robinson and Kanin were honored with the Sketch Comedy Award at the diverseThe Power of Comedy event at SXSW.

Along with Robinson and Kanin, “I Think You Should Leave” is produced by the Lonely Island cast, Akiva Shaffer, Andy Samberg and Jorma Taccone, as well as Ali Bell for Party Over Here, Alex Bach and Dan Powell for Irony Point, and Alice Mathias.

Bach said in an interview with diverse last April. By and large, the majority of the writing process is Monday. And they are just waiting for the drawings to come to them. It’s more about writing really what they want it to be and that’s kind of delaying everything. Not the delay, but that’s why we’ve extended stretches of time between seasons. And they have other things going on, too. They don’t turn out sketches the way they might have done on SNL. They just won their second WGA season two award, so it works. And so we’re like, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

In 2022, I Think You Should Go With Tim Robinson earned its first Emmy nods, with a nomination for Comedy Miniseries, Drama or Variety Series and Robinson winning as Actor in a Miniseries Comedy or Drama. The show also won a 2020 and 2022 WGA Award for Comedy/Variety Sketch Series.

Have a good Friday night, day and night.
