Ilkay Gundogan is exploring his options amid a possible exit from Barcelona.
There is interest in the 33-year-old from clubs in the Premier League, Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
Gundogan is under contract with Barcelona until 2026 after meeting the appearance requirements last season to extend his two-year deal by 12 months.
The Germany captain missed his side’s 2-1 La Liga opener at Valencia on Saturday with concussion and amid speculation over Gundogan’s future at Barcelona, coach and compatriot Hansi Flick said after the game he had spoken to the midfielder about “how he feels ahead of the season”.
“I know him well and I appreciate the player and the character he has. We talked about everything but it will remain between us and it is not your right to know. I have a feeling that he will stay,” Flick added.

Gundogan joined Barcelona after his contract with Manchester City expired in the summer of 2023. In his first season with the Spanish team, he established himself as a key member of then-coach Xavi’s team, scoring five goals and providing 14 assists in 51 appearances.
Barcelona, who are still in a precarious financial situation, managed to sign attacking midfielder Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig for €60 million earlier this summer. The club was unable to register Olmo in the Spanish league squad due to their financial situation and the difficulty of complying with the maximum cost of the league squad.
Barcelona are preparing to face Athletic Bilbao on August 24.
