A man who allegedly displayed a weapon at a motorist on Highway 15 in Mirabel was finally arrested by police officers ten kilometers from the Sûreté du Québec in Laval.

The spectacular arrest was filmed by several passers-by and went viral on social media on Monday.
SQ police were called around 3 p.m. for a man shooting at a motorist on the A-15 southbound near Mirabel, spokeswoman Audrey-Anne Bilodeau said.
The motorist continued on his way, finally ending up in Laval, near a car dealership, on the corner of Boulevard Somedy and Avenue Jean-Perot.
No police search has been launched on Highway 15, the SQ confirms.
As the arrest was risky, the police had to act cautiously.

He has also been given several orders.
“When you go out you are going to open the door quietly with your left hand and raise both of your hands to the sky. You are going to point your face in front of you and retreat quietly!”, among other things, a police officer pointed out during the large-scale operation.
At the end of the intervention the driver was arrested without incident.
