According to reports and possible hints from in-game art, Fortnite's next set of crossover skins will be of Devil May Cry and James Cameron's Avatar. But how true are these rumors, and will Fortnite really include Dante from the Devil May Cry series?
Fortnite has long been known for its massive amount of crossover skins, bringing in characters from other games and media in events and crossovers for the skin. The sheer number and variety of crossovers makes it impossible to predict what will come in the game next.

Although Fortnite has already seen many characters from the game's most popular titles make their way into the Battle Bus, there are still many popular series that have yet to get their own skin.
Devil May Cry looks to be the next series to step into the spotlight alongside Jake Sully from James Cameron's Avatar.
Rumors of Devil May Cry and Avatar collaborating in Fortnite
When it comes to the DMC series, it's really hard to know which version of the series' iconic characters we'll get. Dante, Vergil, and Nero are the three obvious choices, although Trish and Lady are mainstays of the series in their own right.

However, the designs of the three main characters have changed radically over the years, especially Dante. It's hard to imagine they'll approve DmC reboot designs, but other than that, it's really up in the air.
Avatar's Jake Sully is also rumored to be joining them.
The source of both rumors is XboxEra Podcastwith the show's hosts saying they are taking these rumors with a grain of salt.

“This week, I was told that Devil May Cry was coming to Fortnite, and I was like… oh my god,” Nick claimed. His source believes Dante is a hacker, but the other character next to him is unclear.
Additionally, community speculation has players thinking that Dante will be coming to Fortnite soon due to a loading screen hint. Although many in the community thought the character shown in the loading screen was Hope, it was Not an exact match upon closer inspection.

As a result, the Dante rumors carry much more weight than the Avatar rumors. Nick, the Xbox host who spread the rumors about these skins, wasn't overly confident in Jake Sully.
“The other person I was told I was a bit weird about was Jake Sully from Avatar,” he said. “Na'Vi is too long. I don't know how that will work in Fortnite.
Both of these rumors should be taken with a grain of salt, but DMC in particular has fans of the series excited and already posting memes on Twitter.
