The mayor of Longueuil, Catherine Fournier, launched a call for solidarity on Saturday to respond to the regrettable theft targeting a warehouse in Saint-Lambert where donations were collected during the Grande Guignolée of the Riviera South media.
“In total, 50 boxes containing food, new clothes and baby items were stolen without any compromise at the expense of poor families. This is absolutely despicable,” Mayer lamented on Facebook.
