Jason Aldean’s concert came to an abrupt end after the singer showed visible sadness on stage Saturday night in Connecticut.
While performing at the Xfinity Theater in Hartford, Aldean struggled to get through his song “Crazy Town”.
In the middle of his performance, he pulled away from the microphone to be coughed.
In an effort to power up, Aldean can barely sing another line of his song before walking off the stage.
He is no longer a country star.
This morning, the concert venue tweeted a statement regarding the incident.
“Jason Aldean’s show yesterday will be rescheduled to a later date. We appreciate your patience as we work to reschedule a new date, as well as an outpouring of well wishes for Jason. A rep confirmed that he is doing well now after suffering heatstroke during last night’s performance.”
A representative for Aldean confirmed the news to Fox News Digital.
Ahead of his performance, Aldean’s wife Brittany shared on Instagram that she’ll be joining her husband on his Highway Desperado tour next weekend, along with their kids.
He is scheduled to perform two shows in Ohio this coming Thursday and Friday.
The comments section regarding Aldean was flooded, with fans offering their well wishes.
“I hope Jason is doing well. We were at the show in Hartford. Sending love and prayers,” one user wrote. “Is he okay? At the Hartford show, that was scary,” another commented.
A flood warning was in effect last night in the area during Aldean’s performance, with temperatures in the mid-80s.
Aldean is still scheduled to perform tonight in Saratoga Springs, New York.
