The trailer for Kingdom Hearts 4 could spark the inclusion of a Star Wars section.
Eagle eyed fans noticed what could be the foot of the AT-ST walker during a brief scene in the trailer, which suggests Star Wars could be one of the Disney properties included in the next game.
Pictures shared on Kingdom Hearts Reddit (As noted before VGC) offered side-by-side comparisons to the trailer and the AT-ST render, with fans anticipating that the jungle setting could be Star Wars’ Endor.
Each game in the series features several Disney worlds to play through, with Kingdom Hearts 3 including properties like Pirates of the Caribbean, Frozen, and Toy Story.
Neither Star Wars nor Marvel – two of Dinsey’s biggest franchises – have appeared in Kingdom Hearts games before, and neither Square Enix nor Disney themselves have confirmed whether that will be the case in the future.
Series creator Tetsuya Nomura previously confirmed that the reason why Star Wars and Marvel features didn’t appear in Kingdom Hearts 3 was simply because of contradictory issues. Fans will likely not get confirmation for a while as the game was revealed only yesterday at the Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary event. Square Enix also confirmed that the game is still in “early development” and that Kingdom Hearts 3 has been in production for 13 years.

In Unreal Engine 5, which means that these partitions may not be able to run the same way for some time.
