Two men were taken to the hospital after being chased and hit by a car in LaSalle Sunday evening during an encounter following an online transaction.
According to Marion Allaire Morin, spokeswoman for the Montreal Police Service (SPVM), the incident, an armed assault and robbery following an assault, took place on Sunday evening at around 11:50 p.m. at the corner of Angrignon and Newman boulevards. .
Online transactions via social networks are at the beginning of the meeting.
The victims, five young men in their 20s, tried to flee the scene in their vehicle but were followed by at least one suspect vehicle.
The victims’ vehicle may have veered off its path before hitting the tree, causing the driver to lose control. The vehicle was heavily damaged and a tree fell causing disruption to traffic.
The suspect then allegedly assaulted two of the five victims, aged 16 and 19, who were later taken to hospital where their lives were not feared.
The scene was preserved and SPVM investigators went to the site to determine the causes and circumstances of the event.
