Marc Tanguay, interim leader of Quebec’s Liberal Party, released a surprise slip during the assessment of the parliamentary session on Friday morning. Point blank, he said not to think, which caused general glee.

When a journalist asked him a question about the PLQ leadership race, Mark Tanguay wanted to express that it was not his concern at the moment. Here is what he said:
“I, listen, don’t distinguish between who thinks and who doesn’t. Anyway, I can assure you again that I don’t reflect. I don’t care what I see . . .”
Then his colleague, MP Philomena Rotirotti, pointed out what he had just said. Mr. Tanguay pulled himself together in an effort to avoid inappropriate headlines.
“So, for them … Mark Tanguay … Title: Mark Tanguay doesn’t think about leadership, period – please, comma – he corrected. Because I say I think about things every day, but about things other than leadership.
