Liberal MP Marwa Riski, seen by many as the ambitious leader of her party, has finally realized one of her personal plans: she is pregnant with her second child.
Mme Risky announced her pregnancy in an interview Quebec JournalAnd he confirmed it on the X Network on Wednesday morning.
The MP shared the article and wanted to give a message of hope to all women who, like her, are struggling to conceive.
“Your family plan is more than legal. Travel can be trying and I wish with all my heart that you enjoy your little bundle of joy before long,” she wrote.
He also thanked his medical team.
As for her first child, 14-month-old Gabriel, Mme Risky had to visit a fertility clinic for this second pregnancy.
According to Quebec Journal, she is expecting her second child at the end of June. Marwah Rizqy is married to her colleague Gregory Kelly, Liberal MP for Jacques-Cartier.
The news appears to put an end to his thoughts on the next race for the leadership of the Liberal Party of Quebec (PLQ). In recent months, the member for Saint-Laurent admitted he was “torn” about the idea of running, but he finally closed the door in September.
“I cannot run for the presidency,” he said during a press conference. At this stage, this is unlikely. I can not. »
However, in an interview with the Quebecor newspaper, he did not rule out running for the leadership of his party when his children are grown up.
Currently, candidates are not rushing to the gate to present themselves in the race for the leadership of the PLQ. The latest news is that Marguerite-Bourgeoys' Liberal MP, Frédéric Beauchemin, and federal Liberal MP Joel Lightbound were in the debate.
