Meghan Markle’s ex-boyfriend has said King Charles needs to step in and put an end to the endless attention surrounding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
TV presenter Lizzie Cundy, who befriended the Duchess of Sussex in 2013, believes the Sussexes need to end the “whining and complaining” and says they have built a career “out of complaining”.
“In light of recent cartoons mocking Meghan and Harry, King Charles needs to step in and stop her memoir,” Conde He said to the mirror.
“Enough of their whining and complaining now. All they are doing is stabbing in the back and making a career out of complaining.”
Conde, who no longer flaunts his friendship with Markle, added: “It’s too bad now that we’re the laughingstock across the pond making cartoons of the couple – it’s time for this to stop.”
The Sussexes found themselves the butt of a joke in the latest episode of Family Guy, as the animated show mercilessly mocked their money-hungry ways.
“Meghan could forget about her career in politics because, because of her whining, she has become a laughing stock, not only here but in the United States,” Candy points out. “Their celebrity friends have turned away from them. They’ve had to try to reinvent themselves but they don’t know how. They’re making money by attacking our royal family.”
Conde added that Charles “needs to step in” to prevent any potential projects Markle may have in the works, such as a rumored memoir.
Addressing her ex-boyfriend directly, Conde told the outlet: “Meghan, put down your pen. The royal family can’t take it anymore, and the British people have had enough.”
“The Royals cannot stand the ridicule of another animated series. Please, for once, put down your pen. King Charles, grow a spine and tell her frankly.”
The episode in question teased the pair over their deal with Netflix, rumored to be worth $100 million, and showed Peter Griffin (voiced by Seth MacFarlane) on an adventure to become a TV extra to make money.
“I’m going to do it on my own, just like Meghan Markle and Prince Harry,” he says.
The scene then cuts to animated versions of Harry and Meghan, relaxing by the pool, when their butler comes in with a cheque.
“Sir, your millions from Netflix for… no one knows what,” says the butler, to which Harry replies: “Put it with the rest of them.”
Markle then urged Harry that the couple needed to create a $250,000 sponsored Instagram post for Del Taco.
In March, Kandy He told GB News She “really got along” with Meghan after they met at a charity dinner in 2013, before their short-lived friendship eventually fell apart.
“I’ve been friends with Meghan for a while and really connected with her,” she said at the time. “A friend asked me to look after her at a charity event and I thought: Who is this woman?” “No one knew who she actually was.”
