Metal Gear Solid fans reveal additional clues to the possibility of an MGS 4 Remaster and more

After a previous leak seemed to confirm that Metal Gear Solid 4 would eventually make its way into the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection, more evidence has emerged of a remaster of the beloved PS3 classic, with hints of more to come.

Reddit user Timo653 recently Published photos From the code they say it’s taken from the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection launcher. The sequels seem to indicate that Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, and even Metal Gear Solid 5 will be added at some point in the future.

IGN has since checked the code and can confirm the references are correct.

The discovery has generated a lot of excitement among fans, not least because Metal Gear Solid 4 is only available on the defunct PlayStation 3. Metal Gear Solid 4, released in 2008, concluded Solid Snake’s story while being closely tied to Big Boss’ story. It’s a game beloved by fans and critics alike, with IGN writing in our 10/10 review that “its depth and complexity, coupled with its technical prowess, make it one of the best games of the year and, in fact, one of the best.” Best games ever.”

At the time, it was billed as the final game in the series, but creator Hideo Kojima will return to the well again with Metal Gear Solid 5.

When Metal Gear Solid Vol. 2 has finally been released, and will hopefully be more successful than Volume 1. The PC version has been heavily criticized for locking Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 to 720p despite being described as running at 1080p. Meanwhile, the Switch version doesn’t include all of the collection’s games in the cart, forcing players to download Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, and 3.
