Michael J. Fox is a star on screen and on stage!
The Back to the Future actor made a surprise appearance at Glastonbury Festival on Saturday by joining Coldplay on stage during the band’s set.
Fox, 63, who has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease since 1991, was in his wheelchair on stage and played guitar as the band performed their hits “Humandkind” and “Fix You.”

after performanceband leader Chris Martin gave Fox a wonderful tribute, crediting the actor with being the inspiration behind the band’s musical career.

Fox played teenager Marty McFly in the 1985 film. Martin introduced Fox to the Glastonbury audience by referencing his character in the film.

Fox retired from acting in 2020 due to progression of Parkinson’s disease.
He founded the Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2000, and since then the foundation has become the largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson’s disease research in the world, funding more than $1.5 billion in research projects, according to the foundation’s data. website.
