Mila Kunis has denied rumors that she will be starring in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Fantastic Four movie, but she hasn’t escaped knowing who will be starring in the project.
During her appearance on CBS’s The Late Late Show with James Cordon ThursdayKunis has said bluntly that she will not be appearing in Fantastic Four, and that the rumor stemmed from a lunch she had with director Matt Shakman.
Of her meeting with Shakman, Kunis said, “We went out to a delicious restaurant and had lunch together, and the next day I was somehow in Fantastic Four.”
Kunis, who is supposed to play Sue Storm, aka the Invisible Woman, in the reboot (although some Rumors She claims she was also in talks to play a female version of The Thing), she said the meeting was just lunch, and that she wouldn’t be playing any of the four titular roles. However, she says she knows who it will be.
She said, “I’m not in Fantastic Four, but I know who he is.”

“But I don’t want to get in trouble with The Mouse, so none of you will find out,” she laughed, much to the studio audience’s disappointment.
The “mouse” you’re referring to is the executives/legal teams/masters at Disney. “Fantastic Four” is a revamp of the Marvel Cinematic Universe property, following Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox that brought the “Fantastic Four” property under Marvel Studios.
Shakman was tapped to direct the film, set for release on Valentine’s Day 2025, shortly after “Spider-Man” director Jon Watts exited the project last year.

The other three actors who will portray Marvel’s First Family also remain mysteries. While John Krasinski played Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic, in “Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness”, his version of the character was from the 838th series of the MCU’s multiverse, not the 616th series in which all the MCU films are filmed. Until now. This isn’t to say that Krasinski couldn’t play the 616th version of the character either, or that his real-life wife Emily Blunt couldn’t play Sue Storm (she has, too). to reject rumors of her starring role), though Krasinski previously told TheWrap The inscription was a one-off.
With the film released in less than two years, even Marvel’s tightly closed lips wouldn’t be able to keep the secret for much longer. Expect announcements to be thrown at San Diego Comic-Con in July, if not sooner.
