The body of 16-year-old Chelsea Irina Manuel Campos, who has been missing in Lewis since October 6, was found Thursday afternoon in the waters around Ele-de Orleans.

Chelsea Irina Manuel Combos has been wanted by authorities since October 6. She was last seen at the bus stop between Rou de la Presquel and Boulevard Guilm -n-Kodour at 9 p.m.
Since then, intensive testing of SPVL and SQ has included patrol personnel, dog handlers, divers and helicopters. A command post was used Wednesday in the Saint-Romald field, before the search perimeter was enlarged on Thursday.
Chelsea Irina Manuel Campos had made suicide notes before disappearing.
Although the investigation is still ongoing, SPVL spokeswoman Jean-Sebastian Eleven said there was nothing to suggest there may have been any other connection to the teenager’s death.
