At the time of the accident, the victim, a 40-year-old man, was moving liquor bottles using a hoist. For an as-yet unknown reason, his scarf got caught in the device, strangling the victim.
She must have been without air for long minutes. Witnesses finally managed to cut her scarf to free her. Rescue operations were then carried out by paramedics sent to the scene.

The woman was rushed to Sacred Heart Hospital.
The bar had only been open for an hour when the incident took place.
“Very good madam, very kind. This is an incredible story. You come to work one morning and just like that, it’s your last day. It’s very sad,” said a neighbor who knew the victim well.
Inspectors from the Standards, Equity, Health and Safety at Work Commission are due to try to establish the circumstances of the accident in the morning.
