The mother of a four-year-old girl who was hit by a cyclist on the Mont-Royal Plateau Thursday morning lamented that some cyclists do not respect signs, even though such incidents continue.

“My daughter is in shock. She did everything right and now she’s just as scared as all the other kids on the street,” says Bale Deutsch, who lives on rue Jean-Mans.
Around 9 a.m. Thursday, her four-year-old daughter Savi was getting ready to cross the bike path to catch her school bus, as she does every morning.
