An 18-year-old man has lost his life and three others are in critical condition in a road accident on Sunday in Saint-Robert, Montérégie.

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) was called to the scene of the accident on Route 239 at Montée Sainte-Victoire at 7:15 p.m.
“Initial information suggests the driver lost control of his vehicle on a curve before performing one or more rolls,” SQ spokeswoman Catherine Bernard said. Four people, aged 16 and 19, were inside […]. Speed may have played a role in the swerve.”
“He said on Sunday evening that the passenger who was confined in the vehicle had died. He was critically injured and died at the hospital. The condition of the other three is critical and we fear for their lives.
Reenactors and SQ investigators went to the scene to determine the circumstances of the accident.
