Patrick Stewart was happy that Tom Hardy was proven wrong after ‘strange’ behavior in Star Trek: Nemesis

Patrick Stewart has reflected on his decades-long acting career, including work with a young Tom Hardy Star Trek: enemy.

The veteran actor, 83, first joined the popular sci-fi series as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in the 1987 first episode of the seven-season series. Star Trek: The Next Generation. He has since reprized his role in many different Star Trek films and TV shows, most recently as the series’ lead Star Trek: Picard.

Recalling his distinguished role in his first memoirs, Make it so – Released on Tuesday (October 3) – Stewart recalled filming the 2002 film “Privately Vulnerable,” enemy.

Hardy, 46, makes his first and only Star Trek appearance enemyaged 24, when he played Picard’s evil clone Shinzon.

“Tom wouldn’t engage with any of us on a social level,” Stewart said. “She never said, ‘Good morning,’ she never said, ‘Goodnight,’ and she spent hours that weren’t needed in his trailer with his girlfriend.”

Explaining that Hardy “was not aggressive in any way,” Stewart added, “It was difficult to have any relationship with him.”

“In the evening, Tom concluded his role, left in a distinguished manner without ceremony or niceties, and simply walked out the door,” Stewart recalls. “When I closed,” I said quietly to Brent [Spiner] And Jonathan [Frakes]”And there’s one I think we’ll never hear from again.”

He added: “I can only be pleased that Tom proved me so wrong.”
