Fine particles of smog threaten to spoil the feast for the 1st of July celebration.

Air quality in Montreal still leaves much to be desired, as the city ranked fourth on Saturday’s list of cities with the worst air quality.

According to data from online platform IQAir, the city had an air quality index of 118.

The first, second and third places are occupied by Indonesia’s Jakarta (152), Pakistan’s Lahore (137) and Toronto (125).
