The first evacuations took place in Ru Saint-Timothy in the district of Riviere-du-Moulin.
Preliminary surveys by Englobe show that there are dangerous rocks stagnant and the Saguenay Civil Defense has intervened. Those in the two flats were evicted because its path would be unpredictable.
The second intervention took place at rue Joseph-Dandurand, where another soil detachment occurred at the last hour.
Two apartment buildings were evicted as a preventive measure, while Englobe is determining the reasons for the movement. A total of 16 people were relocated. Some were supported by the Red Cross.
