I want to float down a lazy river with her
Regitube isn’t an official Pokemon, but it has already risen to S-level in my favorite Pokemon rankings.
The fan-made song “mon” has been causing quite a stir on social media in the past few weeks. The design concept essentially imagines one of Legendary giants – Like Regirock or Regice – as a creature built from inner tubes. Brutality strikes the right balance between a completely goofy concept and a believable Pokemon design concept. It’s adorable and has already inspired a lot of fan art and videos on social media.
The idea originated with virality Video showing real hoaxes. In this game, a person at a water park grabs a bunch of inner tubes and stacks as many of them as possible around their legs, torso, and arms. After stacking about a dozen inner tubes around them, they wander around like some kind of mascot in the spoiled water park. Well, someone clever had the idea of putting a Pokemon battle theme behind it, which led to the segment being reimagined as real Pokemon.
This mythical creature is just an X search away. There, fans shared their artwork and videos depicting the creativity. Some have shared videos showing mockery of the creature within the game. Others shared his pixel art and other art designed to look like Ken Sugimori’s watercolor art. It’s basically become its own meme within the Pokémon fandom, and you can browse through all the adorable posts below.
Look, all I’m going to say is that Regitube will be a special addition to an already distinguished line of legendary Pokemon. Game Freak introduced Regice, Regirock, and Registeel in Pokemon Ruby And Sapphire. At the time of their release, I associated these creatures with their strange, faceless designs and characteristics Robotic screams in anime. What’s better than that Ruby And Sapphire You already have a trainer class, called “Tubers“, who walk and swim with their inflatable tubes. Now, just imagine if one of these little kids unleashed a legendary character like Regitube.
