Several disruptions to the highway network in the Montreal region are expected this weekend, particularly due to work scheduled for Monday on the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine bridge-tunnel.

As a reminder, bridge-tunnel work will close three of six lanes on October 31; Only one route to the south coast and two routes to Montreal will remain open until November 2025.
The work will cause disruptions on the Samuel-de-Champlain Bridge between Brochard and Montreal and the southbound tunnel on Highway 25 between Montreal and Longueuil, which will be fully closed Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to noon.
Victoria Bridge will be affected by a maintained single lane towards the south bank from 1.30pm on Friday until 5am on Monday.
The Honoré-Mercier Bridge will be fully closed in both directions between Montreal and Kahnawake from 2 a.m. Sunday to 2 a.m. Monday.
Montreal Island will experience several restrictions from 11:59 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, including the closure of Highway 40 between Exit 41 and the next eastbound entrance.
The ramp from Route 138 to Highway 20 westbound at the Saint-Pierre interchange will be closed from 11:59 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
Highway 20 will be closed at the Saint-Pierre interchange between Exit 63 and Entrance 1.D Westbound Avenue, Sunday 10:30 a.m. to Monday 5 a.m.
The Saint-Pierre interchange will be closed eastbound between exit 2 and the interchange from 11 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
On Route 138 East between Rue Clemente and the interchange, two out of three lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturday to 11 p.m. Sunday.
Highway 40 will not be spared from the work, with two lanes closed eastbound above Bourget Boulevard from 10:30 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
From 10:30 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday, the Ville-Marie tunnel will be completely closed on Route 136 between exit 3 and the entrances to Notre-Dame Ovest and de la Cathédrale streets.
