The Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor exclusively worldwide. Although the chipset has not been revealed yet, we may get a first look at its performance in CPU-bound tasks, thanks to the US version of the Galaxy S24 Ultra spotted in the Geekbench database.

Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone, Galaxy S24 Ultra (SM-S928U), has been launched. observer With Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (codename Pineapple) processor in Geekbench’s CPU benchmark database (version 6.2.0). The smartphone scored 2,234 points in the single-core CPU performance test and 6,807 points in the multi-core CPU performance test. In comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 of the Galaxy S23 Ultra equipped Galaxy S23 Ultra scored 1,895 points in the single-core CPU performance test and 5,062 points in the multi-core CPU performance test. This chip will be unveiled later this month at the Snapdragon Summit 2023 event.
The entry also reveals that the Galaxy S24 Ultra runs Android 14 out of the box and has 8GB of RAM. The phone’s benchmark entry also reveals more details about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It appears to have a single 3.3GHz Cortex-X4 CPU core, three 3.15GHz Cortex-A720 CPU cores, and a single CPU core. Cortex-A720 clocked at 2.96 GHz, and two Cortex-A520 CPU cores clocked at 2.27 GHz. Some rumors claim that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is 40% more powerful than its predecessor in terms of GPU performance.
While the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ are rumored to come in both Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 variants for the Galaxy, depending on the market, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will likely use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor for the Galaxy worldwide. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will likely feature a titanium frame, an improved 200MP primary rear camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.
