The most recent victim was a young man in his early twenties who was shot in the head by at least one bullet in the middle of the street on Wednesday evening in the Laval-des-Rapides district.
The victim was skateboarding down Boulevard Clermont when the shooter appeared and shot him in cold blood in the middle of the street. The youth died on the spot.

At least one suspect was seen fleeing the scene after the crime.
Very quickly, the police established that this heinous crime could be linked to two unnecessary murders committed earlier in the day in the Montreal area.
According to our information, all three murders are the work of the same person.
“Same suspect description, same car description,” said a police source who was not authorized to speak to the media.
Also, the killing in Laval followed the same pattern as the two killings in the Montreal area on Tuesday evening.
In all three cases, the victims were men who were randomly selected and shot in the head. Each time, the victims were shot at close range and the killings were committed on public highways.
Recall that on Tuesday evening, two people were killed for no apparent reason within an hour.
The first is the father of former world boxing champion David Lemieux. André Fernand Lemieux, 64, was shot in cold blood while at a bus shelter at the corner of Boulevards Jules-Poitras and Deguire in the city of Saint-Laurent.
