While the Maple Leafs (47-21-11) know they will finish second in the Atlantic Division and take on the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round of the playoffs, the Panthers (42-31-7) are still fighting for a spot. They won six straight games, tied with the Islanders in the Eastern wild-card race, one point behind the Penguins. Florida holds its first wild card because it has one win (36-35) more than New York.

Dallas Stars at Detroit Red Wings (7 p.m. ET; BSDET, BSSWX, ESPN+, SN NOW)
