The upcoming season of the TV series “Super Sized Salon” continues to move forward despite the sudden death of its star, Jimmy Lopez.
Sources who have been close to Jamie tell TMZ… The cast and crew of the show hopped on a call this week with the celebrities of the WE TV network and everyone agreed they wanted the show to continue, with the goal of continuing Jamie’s story.
Nothing official yet, our sources say, but there were discussions about making Jamie a multi-season show before her death recently…and now they’re envisioning some of Jamie’s presence in Season 2…using clips and old interviews.
TMZ broke the story…37-year-old Jamie was hospitalized last weekend in Las Vegas and Died of heart complications.
“Super Sized Salon” premiered earlier this season on WE tv… highlighting the staff and clients at Jamie’s Babydoll Beauty Couture Salon in Vegas.
Jamie owned 50% of the salon with her partner and business manager J.D. Armelen Own the remaining half. We’re told Jamie’s pieces are going to her next of kin. JD is already in the process of buying it, with plans to give some redress to the other women who work at the salon.
We’re told the plan is for JD to stay behind the scenes and eventually turn the salon into a franchise, while looking for another woman to become a spokesperson to continue Jimmy’s vision.
