The Golden Globe Awards serve as the official start of red carpet season each year, setting the fashion bar for the upcoming two-month-long awards shows.
And Step and Repeat Sunday night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles did not disappoint. Nominees, including Selena Gomez, Ayo Edebiri and Barry Keoghan, lit up one of Hollywood's biggest nights in shades of red, while high-gloss was the name of the game for Taylor Swift, Emma Stone and Julia Garner.
And those still mourning the end of the pink-tasting “Barbie” press tour were treated to another doll-inspired look from Margot Robbie, who channeled 1977 Superstar Barbie for the evening.
Below, see the best celebrity looks on the Golden Globes 2024 red carpet.
Taylor Swift
The film and box office achievement nominee returned to her “Reputation” era for the Globes, looking stunning in a bright green Gucci gown accessorized with matching Christian Louboutin heels and a set of cascading diamond earrings from De Beers.
The overall effect was sexy, sophisticated, and — dare we say it — just the right amount of serpentine.
Margot Robbie
Do you really think Robbie ran out of his old Barbie doll for costumes? This time around, Greta Gerwig's Mattel star took inspiration from Superstar Barbie, who wore loud pink sequins by Armani Privé and a tulle boa to match.
Manolo Blahnik shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry worth more than $3 million completed her instant ode to the 1977-era doll.
Ayo Edbury
Edebiri took home her first Golden Globe on Sunday, taking home the award for Best Actress in a Comedy for her work in “The Bear” — and in this stunning crimson Prada with matching shoes, she certainly looked like a winner.
Boucheron's tassel earrings were the perfect complement to her elegant ensemble.
Emma Stone
Among the night's other big winners — she won best actress in a comedy for her performance in “Poor Things” — Stone was a vision in a sparkling Louis Vuitton gown embroidered with pastel flowers and finished with a plunging neckline and high center slit.
Barry Keoghan
The “Saltburn” nominee has become one of Hollywood's best-looking men over the past couple of years — and in this crimson Louis Vuitton suit done in the house's signature Damier pattern, it's safe to say he's continued his hot streak.
His accessories were statement-making, as the actor opted for patent leather Christian Louboutin pumps, several strands of pearls, an Omega watch and a single ruby earring.
Davin Joy Randolph
The Best Supporting Actress winner (for The Holdovers) looked ravishing in this maroon Rodarte dress featuring an embroidered scalloped bodice and a fluttering peplum, which she matched with ruby jewels from Effy and Reza.
Elizabeth Debicki
She may not have taken cues from Princess Diana's personal style on Globes night, but the Australian actress — who won Best Supporting Actress for her role as the late princess in “The Crown” — is still happy with her Dior Haute Couture creation embroidered with silver discs.
For jewelry, she chose a spiky ring and a pair of floral-inspired Dior Joaillerie diamond pendants worthy of an English rose.
Rosamund Pike
Pike steals every scene in Saltburn, and she's turning heads on the Globes carpet, too — thanks in large part to the “protective veil” she wore with her black lace Dior Haute Couture dress.
“I had an accident over Christmas actually. I had a skiing accident He told Variety. “So on December 26, my whole face was shattered and I thought I needed to do something.”
Pike added that while she's “recovered” now, she's “kind of fallen in love with her look.” same!
America Ferrera
America the Beautiful Indeed! This beautiful Dolce & Gabbana “Barbie” dramatically embellished pearl-embellished dress fits her like a glove.
The icing on the proverbial cake? A collection of Harry Winston jewelry, including a two-row diamond necklace and cascading earrings.
Coleman Domingo
The “Rustin” nominee is always one of the smartest designers on the carpet, and we especially loved how he played up the pearly button-up Louis Vuitton look with a pair of statement brooches.
Natalie Portman
The May December nominee was a work of art walking in a black Impressionist-inspired Dior Haute Couture dress featuring a shimmering floral landscape.
Portman smartly kept her jewelry minimal, choosing a pair of diamond earrings from De Beers and a single ring so as not to steal the focus from her dress.
Julia Garner
The “Ozark” favorite's platinum rings were a perfect fit for this plunging Gucci dress worthy of Studio 54.
Bonus points for the complementary silver eye makeup, too.
Lenny Kravitz
The Best Original Song nominee looked as gorgeous as ever in this Alexander McQueen tuxedo.
Pointed-toe Christian Louboutin pumps, Chrome Hearts rings, oversized shades, and vintage 1970s gold mesh earrings added extra swagger — as if he needed them.
Natasha Lyonne
Leave it to Leon to take the right kind of risk on the Globes red carpet. We loved the sharp peaks and eye-catching fringes of this Schiaparelli number — not to mention how the “Poker Face” candidate's fiery curls popped against the pale color.
She described it as a “piece of art” on the rug, and she's not wrong.
