The first update begins rolling out to the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro

With the November 14 Android security patch, the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro Get First post-launch update with a few fixes.

As of today, only global versions are available. This update seeks to fix the Android 14 storage access issue.

Expect more fixes and changes with Android 14 QPR1 next month, which is currently in beta.


Google forgot to add the hardware key to explain the Android 14 Pixel changelog. Everything is not in parentheses — *[1],*[2]And *[3] – Should apply to all devices.

  • Fixes an issue that sometimes causes the wallpaper to be incorrectly aligned on devices with a hole-punch or hole-punch camera

touches

  • Fixes an issue that sometimes causes the screen to shake when touch registration becomes inaccurate*[2]
