There are lots of planets and star systems to explore Starfield, the latest open-world sci-fi RPG from Bethesda. However, to roam the Dark Universe, you’ll need a pretty good ship, and while you get one gifted at the start of the campaign, there’s a ship that’s better in almost every way.

On September 6 (Unless you buy one of the special editions to get to the cockpit early), Starfield It’s Bethesda’s first new IP in 25 years, and as the studio says, it is The most ambitious game To go on a date. Bragging Hundreds of planets and star systems For looting and skirmishing, it’s all too easy to find yourself drifting in the sea of space, especially if your spacecraft isn’t able to hop between multiple galaxies at once. The Frontier, the first ship to give you a member of the exploration faction Constellation about 20 minutes into the main story, is a good missile. It has strong defensive and offensive stats while also giving you plenty of space to transport cargo All the junk You will collect them while drawing stars. Borders, like every ship in StarfieldIt can be improved, but first you have to hit your head against the wall to discover that the game is rather complicated Shipbuilding mechanics.
But despite all the upgrades available and other ships you can spend your hard-earned credits on, the best of them all is The Razorleaf, a legendary ship you can get early if you’re up for the challenge.
How to get StarfieldRazorleaf ship
To get The Razorleaf, you’ll need to start the second main quest, The Old Neighborhood. This will take you on a tutorial-like mission to find a contact who has information about an artifact, which is the space node blocks that act as the main thrust of StarfieldReach the Galaxy plot. You’ll head to Mars and Venus before finishing the mission, but while you’re on Venus, your companion Sarah Morgan will have you scan the satellite for clues, directing you to the just-hanging Nova Galactic Staryard, hovering in space. Once you dock at the space station, a gunfight will begin between two warring factions. Explosion of these dead men. What you’re looking for while searching their bodies is the “Secret Outpost!” Note, which can be found on most Spacer enemies in the Nova Galactic Staryard. Grabbing this and reading it will trigger The Mantis side quest. Now, it’s time to jump in.
Your next destination is Denebola IB, which orbits the planet of the same name within the star system of the same name. This outpost is full of goons ranging from levels eight to 30, so be careful, especially if you’re dealing with this right after starting StarfieldCampaign, which will put you around level four. Eliminate all the enemies you find – spacers, robots, turrets, etc. – while collecting information about Mantis, a legendary astronaut who terrorized the hearts of the galaxy’s star explorers. This is a difficult area to shoot from. Not only do Spacers triple or quadruple your level, but there are also a lot of them in tight corridors who make great use of cover and tactics, so make sure you have plenty of ammo and medicine to survive the fight. Other than that, it’s a pretty straightforward mission: kill everyone there, go down to the outpost, and collect your loot. There’s one puzzle that requires you to spell a word (which isn’t hard to guess if you’ve picked up information), but after that another shootout with some robots, both The Mantis’ legendary armor and the Razorleaf spaceship will be yours for the choosing.
Razorleaf and Mantis armor perks
Razorleaf is an exceptional ship! Although it doesn’t have as much armor as The Frontier, the missile excels in air combat and storage. It’s faster and lighter than The Frontier, has better weapons, and has more fuel and health to get you through space and keep you there longer. Beyond these perks, the best benefit you get from flying a Razorleaf is the legacy of its cockpit. You see, a long time ago, The Mantis was a fearsome astronaut, someone the Spacers were extremely afraid of. So much so that any Terminator that came into contact with The Mantis and their Razorleaf would immediately retract its tail and jump away. This applies once you get the ship, and if you select the desired character trait during your character build, which causes bounty hunters to come after you on a semi-regular basis, you’ll hear comms stutter as they realize they’re advancing towards the infamous Razorleaf. Cowards. Using ship-mounted solid weapons, you can turn some of the early game’s elite pilots into mere scraps of space debris floating listlessly forever. Oh, one more thing: The Razorleaf also comes equipped with a protected cargo holding bay so you can smuggle contraband undetected, which is important since some of the game’s planets, like Akila and New Atlantis, will scan your ship before clearing you to land.
On top of the cool ship, you can also collect legendary Mantis gear during the side quest. This is another solid early game set of equipment as all three pieces – the helmet, pack, and spacesuit – have great stats and come with a variety of attributes. There seems to be some randomness between the variants, so although the suit itself – which is white with a mantis-like head – remains the same, the attributes may vary, from setting enemies on fire, reducing item weight, increasing carrying capacity, and vehicles. -Healing when your health drops below a certain point.

I spent the entire Labor Day weekend hunting The Mantis and Razorleaf, and I’ll tell you I died more times than I can count. It didn’t help that I wasn’t properly prepared for the firefights; I jumped to several different planets multiple times to find enough ammo and medicine to ensure I lived long enough to reap the fruits of my labor. But the Razorleaf was worth the perilous journey the ship and I had plotted StarfieldMany star systems several times already. I’m now about halfway through the game and have my eyes on another ship, but the Razorleaf will remain in my deck when I need to cripple my enemies in-universe.
