An educator who assaulted a two-year-old child in the daycare he worked for pleaded guilty on Tuesday to going to jail despite all his grievances.
“We will take him into custody,” he said. And Gabriel Telesley after Nazira El Hymini pleaded guilty Tuesday in Montreal court.
The 31-year-old accused, who bowed his head, acknowledged the attacks on children at a day care center in the Villere district of Montreal where he worked in the fall of 2020.
During the sleep of small children, the girl happened to beat them.
Thus, just like slapping a little girl who was crying, another baby “moved a lot on her mattress”.

Filmed
In another case, the accused “pulled by the hair” a crying little girl, while a boy received “two plates on the head”.
“Then she throws him with his arms and legs and throws him to the ground,” the court document says.
What the educator did not know, however, was that one of her co-workers caught her active, and he filmed everything for 10 days, then alerted management. El Hymini was fired immediately, while his parents and police were notified.
“According to the court document, the defendant cried and begged the manager not to tell the parents. [À l’enquêteur]He denied the allegations and said he was playing [avec un des bambins frappés]. ⁇
Sadness
From the events, however, El Hminey seems to have accepted his responsibilities. In a psychological statement filed in court by his lawyer, Ms. Maria Soledad Vivas Rodriguez, he was described as “deeply saddened”.
“Clinical care and test analysis indicate that Ms. El Hminey did not show a problematic personality,” the report said. He is a sociable person, a collaborator and someone who can meet all his responsibilities. ⁇
However, the report on the risk of reconsideration of the accused is silent, so Judge Alexandre St-Ong asked that another report be prepared to clarify the matter.
The remaining procedures will take place in September. El Hminey is expected to testify, while the parents of the children are expected to file statements in court.
