In fact, the Prime Minister’s Office is meeting in Charlottetown for three days, on the occasion of the retreat, to ponder its future.

“I don’t think there will be many in the end. Sure Sophie was part of Justin Trudeau’s trademark at the start of the mandate in 2015, but for more than three years she has been very discreet,” says Emmanuel Latravers.

“I share Emmanuel’s opinion. In my mind, there is no doubt. Listen, unless we are sure of our position, we will not settle such a marriage question with the risk of disaffected people,” said Mr. Larocque said.
“We might even see a more embattled Justin Trudeau,” says Mr. Dumont.
