The world’s worst McDonald’s restaurant located in Ottawa will close after 40 years in business. The problem is not the quality of the food, but rather the many hassles experienced by customers at this restaurant on Rideau Street.
In recent years, there have been more than 900 calls to police due to fights, including one involving a raccoon.
As a result, the restaurant’s lease will not be renewed, according to MailOnline.
The owner of the building on Rideau Street, Peter Crosthwaite, confirmed to CTV that the licensee had decided not to renew.

The former manager of the location called the restaurant a “bad McDoo”. The establishment made headlines in 2013 due to a general brawl that went viral on social media.
In footage uploaded to YouTube, customers can be seen lashing out as a man pulls a raccoon out of his jacket.
Frequent fights and troublesome customers prompted more than 800 calls to the police in 2018 alone, forcing the restaurant to abandon its 24-hour schedule.
Despite the move, Ottawa police said they still received more than 150 calls last year.
