Ready to decorate your home in red, green and blue for the holidays? Amazon is offering 20% off many Nanoleaf products during Prime Day. Nanoleaf RGB wall light kits are more expensive than typical RGB LED kits and aren’t discounted as often throughout the year, so an event like Prime Day is a great time to stock up. Their products are definitely higher quality than the typical RGB brands you’ll find on Amazon. I’ve been using Nanoleaf Triangles (original version) for almost a decade now in my kids’ room and they’re definitely still one of my favorite RGB products I’ve purchased, and I’ve tried a lot of RGB stuff.

How do Nanoleaf panels work?
Most Nanoleaf products follow a similar design. It is a set of single RGB LED engineering light panels which can independently display more than 16 million colors. They’re modular, which means they can be linked together to create a bright, one-of-a-kind piece of art on your wall. The interlocking nature allows you to create your own design, which is only limited by the number of panels you have available. All linked panels also feed power to each other, so you just have to find a way to hide one power cable.
Keep in mind that Nanoleaf has three types of panels: “Shapes,” “Canvas,” and “Lines.” Different products in each type can be connected to each other, but you cannot connect different types. For example, the Shapes Triangle panel will connect to the Shapes Hexagon panel but neither can connect to the Lines panel or the Canvas panel. The nanoshapes of the wooden hexagons are part of the “shapes” archetype.
The best thing about these lights is that they never go out of style like Christmas lights. It always looks good, even when it’s not in use. You will never have to remove them and can change the mood of your space at the right time. They’re also easy to control and program since they all have WiFi connectivity for connecting to your smartphone, Alexa, or Google Assistant, and newer models are even compatible with Thread for smart home integration.
