Severe weather allowed a few storm cells to form during the day on Friday. Sectors on the south bank of the St. Lawrence were the most affected. Rivière-Bleue in particular received almost 45 millimeters of rain and wind caused minor damage inland. However, the evening should be quiet for these sectors.

Thunderstorms are likely on Saturday
The risk was maintained for the sixth day in a row on Saturday. Two things favor the development of afternoon thunderstorms: warmth and moisture. Areas south of the St. Lawrence River, including Estrie, Beauce and Caspé, are most likely to develop cells, but isolated thunderstorms are also possible across the province.
