Gray weather over the weekend will lead to sunny weather to start the week, but for a while, a low pressure regime will keep the mercury down with rain.
So the weather at the start of the week will be pleasant, with generous sunshine and temperatures in the upper 20s in southwestern Quebec, especially in Montreal.
An alternation of sun and clouds is expected in the center of the province, with clouds disrupting this sense of good weather but temperatures remaining pleasant, according to Environment Canada.
Conditions will be more nuanced in eastern Quebec, with some sectors likely to receive some intermittent showers, while elsewhere, clears are expected under comfortable temperatures.
On Tuesday, good weather will continue with sunshine, and the mercury will rise above 22 degrees in parts of the south and center of the province, according to the federal agency’s forecasts.
On the other hand, parts of eastern Quebec will experience dense clouds and a 60% chance of rain, especially in the Caspé, where a scheduled grilling can be expected on Wednesday.
According to the federal agency, this gray weather coupled with the descent of rainy weather and cold air will cause temperatures to drop below seasonal norms in many areas, including southern Quebec.
