Officers wanted to go to his house immediately, but came up against a locked door. After persuading her, they found the two brothers without vital signs, Toronto media reported.
According to Toronto Police Homicide Inspector Terry Brown, there were no visible marks on their bodies. Their deaths were sadly confirmed at the hospital.
According to Inspector Brown, the boys’ deaths are being treated as suspicious. An autopsy will be conducted in a week.
“I don’t think it was an accidental fall,” he said Monday of the mother’s accident Toronto Star. “But it depends on the information we get while inside the unit.”
The neighbors were shocked
A frightened neighbor heard a knock on the door and informed the police.
