Expect a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the Montreal area this afternoon, according to Environment Canada forecasts. The sky moves under the rotation of the sun and clouds. The Humidex factor makes the temperature feel like 35 degrees.
Montérégie, Laurentians, Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Estrie, Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean and Capitale-Nationale will see the same transition of sun and clouds in the metropolis. The Humidex factor will decrease in some areas such as Abitibi-Témiscamingue (29 degrees) or the Laurentians (27 degrees).
For those living in the Outhouses, the sky will be more stable with clouds. No chance of showers or thunderstorms is expected, and temperatures will remain at 27 degrees, with a humidex factor rising to 34.
The north coast will have slightly cooler weather, with Baie-Comeau recording a temperature of 26 (32 with Humidex). Sept-Îles has a low Humidex factor with a perceived 28 degrees. There is no rain in the region, but some clearing is expected.
A heat warning issued by Environment Canada remains in effect. It particularly affects the Montreal, Monterrey, Estrey and Capitale-National areas.
