A year after Eduardo Malpica’s disappearance, the Trois-Rivières resident’s widow is calling for a public hearing to shed light on the work of Trois-Rivières police department investigators.

In an interview with Jean-François Guerin, Chloé Dugas criticized investigators for having tunnel vision regarding the disappearance.
“For me, it’s not just an investigation. I don’t have the impression that the investigators were very interested in unraveling the mystery of Eduardo’s disappearance,” he insisted on the show. Current cases.
A petition calling for a public hearing was launched in conjunction with the Trois-Rivières Solidarity Committee.
The man’s relatives believe the police did not do enough in the investigation.
“I don’t think it’s normal for fights to happen in bars, for the police to tell me, ‘There’s nothing there, it’s normal to happen in bars’. I find that a problem,” he continues.
“I want answers for Eduardo.”
An inquest is one of the last hopes of those close to Eduardo Malpica to understand the circumstances of his death.
