Haut Sommets primary school in Saint-Perpétue, Saint-Joseph school and Rencontre secondary school in Saint-Pamphile welcome some youngsters for the night.
The Hauts-Sommets school welcomes thirty children and teachers who are forced to sleep at school due to extreme road conditions.
A surge of solidarity has been shown in the sector to comfort the youth.
“I was very happy to see how active the citizens are in finding solutions for these young people. They will certainly enjoy an adventure. I hope this adventure can be enjoyed without too much disturbance,” wrote Mathieu Rivest, Deputy of Côte-du-Sud in the National Assembly.
The Côte-du-Sud School Service Center had to take this decision to ensure the safety of all students.
