She said, “I was talking about how I don’t like when there was a vowel as their first letter, and neither my dad nor my mom realized what I was talking about because they had the two consonants as their first.”
Rozans was among dozens of people who were surprised this week to discover that the popular word-deduction game began to give them a different answer than their fellow puzzle solvers. The game’s collective appeal came in part from the fact that there is only one answer per day, shared by players everywhere. As of Tuesday, there are two possible solutions, depending on the site someone is using.
Fortunately for Wordle fans, the incompatibility with other players is reversible. Updating the website where they play the game should sync the puzzle with the updated version.
Although most players are redirected to the Times site, people who haven’t updated or reopened the game since the newspaper bought it may still be using the initial page.

Even the original version of Wordle did not include all five-letter words in English. Game maker, software engineer Josh Wardle, He previously told The Times That his romantic partner, Palak Shah, helped narrow the list from around 12,000 to approximately 2,500 which she considers well known. He said he made the puzzle for her because she loves word games.
The free puzzle quickly gained cultural influence after Wardle released it publicly in the fall.
