WG“It’s peacemaking over a hearty meal…and organizing a march to end years of conflict between rival Compton gangs—and breaking bread, or in this case, cake.”
The rapper led the truce and march on Sunday…and was joined by members of the Treetop Pirus and Fruit Town Pirus gangs, family members and children as they made their way through the streets of Compton.
While walking, YG stopped to grab a bite to eat at Tam’s Burgers… where he brought the entire band into the convenience store as the music escalated and the rapper even showed off some of his dance moves.
In fact, YG had a snack at the store… and he wasn’t the only one — several marchers ate alongside the rapper.
The march began at Gonzales Park — a local gathering spot — where YG posed for photos… with various attendees rushing in and out of frame to get their photos with the star.

We’re told this was more than just a symbolic gesture… as YG helped facilitate a long-standing dialogue between the two sides – recently successfully convincing both sides to come to the negotiating table.
